Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Technical/trade school certificate in refrigeration and/or mechanical/electrical fields
  • OEM training for equipment vibration instrumentation and procedures
  • Must complete all required safety and equipment training to perform the services RD&S offers to clients
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and have a strong drive to learn and grow in the refrigeration service field
  • Must show proficiency in use of popular computer software products (Microsoft Office)
  • EPA certification is required
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Travels in the service region to customer sites to conduct oil and vibration analysis on industrial refrigeration equipment as planned for
  • Works with OEMs to submit oil samples and vibration data for review vs OEM standards
  • Prepares all required reports and documentation on the oil and vibration service based on field data interpretation and OEM findings
  • Sends service vibration reports to customers per planned maintenance contract requirements
  • Communicates with service managers and service coordinator to ensure follow-up actions on any compressor or motor issues
  • Ability to work with tablet-based service ticket software system to complete service tasks assigned in weekly Work Orders (WO)
  • Prepare and submit service Work Order recommendation forms daily so to RD&S Service Coordinators can review for scheduling
  • Submit all time / Work Order reports weekly and assure all receipts for reimbursable expenses accompany the Work Order
  • Ensure Service Coordinator has proper information to complete Work Orders for client billing in an accurate and timely manner
  • Close work orders out as soon as completed; Keep appropriate notes on system pertaining to the job; work to resolve open issues with service manager as needed
  • Be dignified, courteous, clean and in RD&S provided apparel when working in / at client facilities or when otherwise interacting with the clients
  • Maintain current licenses and certificates required to perform the specified service
  • Perform other duties as required by service leads and service manager
