Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (or higher) in automotive technology, automotive vocational education or relative degree program, or extensive related work experience
  • Experience in collision and accident reconstruction analysis
  • All eight (8) certifications (A1-A8) plus L1 preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that meets company standards is required for this position

Responsibilities

  • Maximize customer retention and loyalty by ensuring Dealer execution of the “Fix It Right the First Time” Protocol on customer vehicles
  • Promoting customer retention/satisfaction by providing direct “hands-on” support/assistance to dealers/technicians for diagnosing and resolving customer technical concerns as well as direct customer interaction
  • Provide Field Technical Reports to Product Quality Service Support (PQSS) for future product improvements
  • Provide direct assistance to District Parts and Service Managers on technical warranty issues to ensure proper warranty repairs and claim processing
  • Consult Dealers on their technical training activity to ensure that an adequate number of certified technicians
  • Support technician skills development through active management of Skill Level Guidelines
  • Provide TMNA Legal Department and Regional support for the National Center for Dispute Settlement administrators through technical support, including inspections and investigations
  • Reporting any concerns in a timely and accurate manner to the Field Technical Training Manager for future product improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASE L1 Certification
  • Relevant work experience with dealership functions and dealership “Fixed Operations”
  • Relevant or related Electrified Powertrain experience, including but not limited to Hybrid and BEV vehicles
