Requirements
- Proficient with electronic/electrical test instruments and measurement devices
- Knowledge and experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams
- 5+ years of relevant instrumentation and electrical experience in an industrial environment
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers
- Must be able to respond to callouts and emergencies (within 1-2 hours) during and after regular business hours
Responsibilities
- Installing, inspecting, maintaining, operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic equipment
- Ensuring completion of all appropriate documentation
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drives, and auxiliary equipment
- Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns
- Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Mentor and train employees when the opportunity presents itself
- Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution
- Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all tools and equipment, as needed
- Oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties
- Stay up to date on Operations Qualifications and required training
- Interface and communicate with customers and suppliers as required
- Complies with company safety and quality policies and code of conduct
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with water treatment equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of basic programming and PLC/HMI software preferred
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens hardware and software preferred
- AA degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to meet the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
