Requirements
- Experience in heavy rotating oil lubricated machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly and machining drawings.
- Knowledge and experience using tooling, machining, and measurement devices.
- Ability to technically troubleshoot complex rotating machinery.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to navigate and generate complex Word and Excel reports.
- Ability to support overtime and weekends as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide field service technical direction in support of US Navy aircraft carrier, submarine, and other support vessels.
- Provide engineering oversight to key clients throughout the disassembly, inspection, complex report writing, repairs, reassembly, and testing of related equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or equivalent and/or 10+ years experience in the related field.
- Shipboard construction environment experience preferred.
- Prior experience with maintenance overhaul activity on complex rotating machinery, preferably steam turbine experience.
