Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing
- Ability to operate computers and other office equipment
- Ability to lift and transport objects and office supplies
- Ability to remain sitting or standing for long periods of time
Responsibilities
- Provides receptionist and clerical support in preparing, coordinating and compiling patient records, answering phones, and scheduling appointments
- Establish, inventory and replenish adequate supply levels, including exchange and parcarts to support daily activities for nursing and ancillary departments
- Documents all supply replenishment performed enter issues/ credits, patient care equipment and charges
- Processes patient and supply charges for interfacing and dayclose activities
- Monitors, rotates, removes and documents all outdated and overstocked supplies, checking for any damage to items
- Enters supply replenished par level forms, including par, Pyxis inventory, or exchange carts to support daily activities for nursing and ancillary departments
- Verifies inventory and control levels for all nursing and schedules ancillary departments
- Physically stocks, and pick needed supplies for delivery to nursing and ancillary departments
- Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
- May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
