Field Consultant I

Familiar with software and software implementation.
Familiar with industry terminology such as Cloud Computing, SaaS, Implementation and so on.
Ability to demonstrate and possess analytical, presentation, troubleshooting, and design skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
Ability to maintain expected attendance at work and take accountability, and manage time in person, at client locations, and remotely.
Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends based on business needs.

Collaborate with experienced Senior Consultants on implementation projects while executing on the client’s statement of work (SOW).
Assists with all phases of Vertex projects, including review and analysis of client requirements, solution design and build, testing, and providing client support as needed.
An individual contributor who works on problems of limited to moderate scope.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
Will initially depend on others for instruction, guidance, and direction, and/or has a specified work structure.
As experience grows, exercises independence and judgment in the completion of familiar tasks and seeks guidance when needed.
May introduce new approaches within the area of expertise.
Builds stable working relationships within the workgroup as well as with internal and/or external customers.
Lead or participate in other projects or duties as assigned.
Travel approximately 10-50 %.
May work remotely occasionally.

1+ years of relevant experience preferred, but not required
Open to early-career candidates, including recent graduates (Some experience (internships, coursework, or volunteer work) is a plus)
