Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering discipline, foreign equivalent or related field
- Five (5) years of experience in the job offered, Technical Support Engineer or related occupations
- 5 years of experience in Embedded systems, C programming, Assembly programming, Real Time Operating Systems knowledge, Hardware and firmware, and Debugging tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform semiconductor engineering duties in furtherance of design and implementation of the company’s in-house semiconductor, microcontroller, and related products
- Serve as a key contributor in the Customer Application Support team supporting the design in Industrial and IoT application spaces, focused in microcontroller applications
- Deliver premium technical support in content and time to assigned customers; responsible to be 100% accountable to drive design wins in their target accounts and target technology
- Lead proof of concept, solution design and demonstrations to secure NXP solution’s design-in
- Analyze, design, and implement systems solutions
- Synthesize customer and competitive insights to improve product definition and roadmaps
- Provide technical expertise in support of pre- and post-sales activities
- Support development of fully integrated systems, which may include processors, peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software
- Develop opportunities, make customer presentations qualifying the value of NXP’s products, and support responses to technical requests for proposal
