Requirements
- Associate degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (ChE). Will also consider a degree in a relevant technical field or equipment experience within a semiconductor environment
- Understanding and ability to handle structured problem solving 5Y and 8Ds
- MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access experience
- Good written and oral communication skills, as well as attention to detail and ability to conduct multiple tasks
- Strong chemistry and laboratory experience
Responsibilities
- Process sustaining support for electroless plating, including tool qualifications and chemical bath adjustments, process monitoring through SPC, troubleshooting and reacting to process issues, dispositioning material, microscope inspections, and other tasks as requested by the Engineering team
- Work closely with entire team to achieve quarterly set yield and cycle time goals
- Work closely with Engineering team to develop and qualify new processes and new tool sets, including characterizing, documenting, and possibly presenting data based around designed experiments
- Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions, take corrective action, and interact with Process Engineers & Equipment Maintenance to identify and resolve non-conformance process and equipment operations
- Assist in creating new procedures and refining previously existing ones; assist in maintaining reticle inventory system
- Assist Engineering team in any areas that they need with regards to process, test, data, etc.
- Handle material depositions and work to resolve any lot issues that may arise
- Diagnose bath analyses based on specific controls
