Requirements

  • Education – Graduating with Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics or related field from an accredited degree program.
  • Mechanically inclined – a hands-on team member, able to deconstruct and understand complex systems
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
  • Language Fluency – English (Written & Verbal)
  • Travel – Up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Support equipment integration hardware and software solutions for new and legacy factory automation systems
  • Develop, test, deploy first-of-a-kind automation technologies
  • Lead hands-on, tactical troubleshooting efforts to resolve long-term performance issues
  • Leverage new technology in robotics and automation to improve manufacturing performance and productivity
  • Design, assembly and integration of automated/robotic manufacturing cells
  • Enabling manufacturing cell readiness for future automation
  • Evaluation and improvement of existing or future automated equipment
  • Partner with operators, maintenance, and others to understand all processes and how teams and individuals are involved and impacted at each step
  • Develop and/or update specifications, procedures, and equipment to sustain improvements
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to support decision making process and future business recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.
  • Passion for robotics and/or factory automation
  • Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently and in team settings
  • Comfort working as both part of a team and/or entirely as an independent performer
  • Strong program management and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience and proficiency with CAD design software (e.g. AutoCAD)
  • Knowledge of semiconductor/silicon processing
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
  • Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
