Requirements
- HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- DL-Valid Driver’s License Class C Upon Hire
- Knowledge of all building components (i.e., boilers, fuels, piping systems, roof building structures, air conditioning systems, grounds etc.)
- Able to read, write, and speak the English Language
- Ability to inspect systems and buildings to detect existing or potential problems
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to analyze situations and develop an effective course of action
Responsibilities
- Responsible for general, mechanical, and preventive maintenance including inspections, servicing, repair and overhaul of equipment and facilities
- Performs a variety of skilled work in the operation, repair, and maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and other related work as required
- Operates, maintains, and repairs equipment including vessel boiler, electrical, air-conditioning refrigeration, plumbing
