Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years in a management position within the food manufacturing industry
- HACCP, PCQI, and FSMA knowledge/training
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily facility functions, including production, maintenance, staffing, and quality assurance
- Control and monitor physical inventories; manage procurement of production, plant, and warehouse supplies
- Create budgets; analyze financial statements and performance data to ensure financial goals are met
- Build and train a team of supervisors; foster a culture of trust and high performance
- Develop and oversee comprehensive training programs; ensure adherence to company hiring and disciplinary procedures
- Implement and monitor HACCP, GFSI, and sustainability programs; maintain certificates and permits; ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Manage plant inspections by state and federal agencies; maintain necessary permits and liaise with regulatory bodies
- Work with HR to implement policies that enhance workplace culture and employee satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
