Requirements
- 4 year college degree preferred
- 2+ years supervisory or leadership experience
- 1+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Responsibilities
- Supervising and working alongside team members to complete projects and tasks
- Managing the day-to-day operations and overall maintenance of the facilities
- Respond to associate, vendors, or visitor inquiries in person, via email, and/or the internal ticketing program
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address facility needs
- Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization, industry, and community
- Interact with building vendors and teams to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the facility
- Coordinate move requests and space planning
- Ensure the office workspace remains clean, organized, professional, and safe for all
- Order and maintain products or services. Both consumable and non-consumable
- Assist in ensuring breakrooms and office spaces are stocked and clean
- Assist with the preparation for company functions and social events
- Complete miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned to support Nelnet
