Requirements
- Minimum of 10 (ten) years in facilities management and experience in the planning and control of maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment; process industry preferred
- Understands Facilities and Plant Equipment maintenance (Preventive, Reactive, Troubleshooting)
- Understands electro-mechanical equipment and requirements to run automated and semi-automated equipment
- Understands plant critical equipment including HVAC, Air Compressors, Pumps, Fire systems, Building and structures, Dust control equipment, and Preventive activities on the above listed equipment
- Understands plant electrical service including major switchgear, electrical drawings, plant requirements, and preventive activities on the above listed equipment
- Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
- Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to show initiative, work independently and make sound judgments on a day-to-day basis regarding assigned and ad hoc duties with minimal supervision
- Trustworthy, strong emotional maturity, and intelligence with proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Demonstrated time management skills to achieve high performance goals by prioritizing and executing to meet deadlines
- Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) required
- Working knowledge of Visio, Concur, CAD, ERP, EMIS, COGZ and CRM systems; Oracle EnterpriseOne preferred
- Ability to learn other systems and software used by the company
- Maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers
Responsibilities
- Responsible/Manages Grand Prairie, TX building(s) ensuring general building maintenance, repairs and upgrades, and ensures optimal functionality of all critical building systems including but not limited to: All Building structures (roof, walls, floors), HVAC Systems, Utility Systems (water, sewer, electric), Storm water systems, Process waste systems, Grounds (sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, greenery, lighting, signage), Site Security (fences, gates, surveillance, alarms, locks)
- Manage inventory of supplies and equipment
- Ensure 100% availability on critical safety systems including by not limited to: Fire suppression & alarm systems, Portable Fire Extinguishers, Eyewash stations & safety showers
- Ensure plant egress routes and evacuation maps are maintained and up-to-date
- Maintain certification of plant lifting systems (cranes & unloaders)
- Coordinate and schedule repairs and maintenance with outside contractors
- Coordinate construction and renovation projects as needed
- Maintain accurate facility records and prepare reports for management
- Manages outside vendor services in support of maintenance, upkeep, repair and upgrades of buildings and operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree (Engineering, Manufacturing/Industrial Management, Business Management or related field)
- Equivalent combination of education and experience to include a minimum of 10 years manufacturing experience in progressively responsible positions
- Six Sigma or Lean (experience or certification) preferred
