Requirements

  • BS in Mechanical or Chemical engineering
  • 12+ years of experience in design, operations and maintenance, experience working in cleanroom and lab environments
  • Knowledge of lab and cleanroom systems, and specialized systems such as RO/DI water, Process Exhaust, specialty gas and bulk gas systems, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, cooling water, water and air treatment and compressed air and vacuum systems
  • Knowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety standards
  • Communication, presentation, project management, and reporting experience
  • Experience to work in a team environment and lead regional and global initiatives
  • Demonstrated skills to provide customer service

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the Pacific Northwest/West Coast Facilities strategic Initiatives which will evolve annually aligned with business objectives.
  • Ownership and delivery of the Vendor Management Framework for the Integrated Facility Management services in PNW/West Coast.
  • Develop and drive Annual Planning Framework for the PNW/West Coast Facilities Engineering Team (Budgeting, Technology and Sustainability).
  • Drive Standardization and optimization initiatives that will enable efficiencies for the Facilities Engineering Team.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement for the Facilities Team leveraging our internal and external partners
  • Ownership and delivery of change management programs associated with specific initiatives.
  • Develop close relationships and partner with cross functional teams to enable the delivery of the above including: Meta Reality Labs, Infrastructure, Culinary, Security, Enterprise Engineering, Legal, and Procurement.
  • Develop and implement regional facilities engineering strategies ensuring statutory compliance, risk management and governance controls across the Integrated Facility Management delivery
  • Management of operational budget and capital asset replacement investment planning
  • Monitor vendor performance and optimize service delivery
  • Monitor, trend, and develop engineering metrics and statistical data for strategic planning
  • Incident management process and controls
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and inform frequently on progress, risks, and schedule.
  • Participate in vendor, supplier, and contractor management at multiple sites.
  • Manage the commissioning process at a high level, ensure that upon completion of new builds that turnover is adequate and process is thorough.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration
  • MS in engineering
  • Knowledge of substations, power distribution and generator power systems
