Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in facilities engineering experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Mastery in measuring voltage/current safely and effectively for circuit troubleshooting
- Proficient with 460, 220, 120 VAC and 24 volt DC circuits, motor starting, and power distribution circuits
- Skilled in reading electrical schematics, ladder logic, and PLC functions
- Expertise in aligning bearings, shafts, and drives; adjusting tensions; identifying and replacing worn/damaged parts
- Proficient in pneumatic circuits and printer maintenance
- Competence in RS232/RS422 communications setup and analysis
Responsibilities
- Accurately measure voltage and current, leveraging data to diagnose and troubleshoot circuits
- Align bearings, shafts, and drives; adjust belt and chain tensions; identify and replace worn or damaged parts
- Develop comprehensive maintenance schedules tailored to device requirements
- Analyze and replace cards and chips, troubleshoot network systems and cabling, configure and troubleshoot IBM-compatible computers
- Diagnose cabling and I/O devices, and upload/download PLC programs for seamless operations
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, embodying ICARE principles
- Drive improvements in quality and efficiency on the production floor
