Requirements
- Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required: 1 year of manufacturing experience
Responsibilities
- Finish parts to specification with hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.), portable grinders, hand routers, band saw, and sanding equipment.
- Sand burrs and sharp machined edges using sanding equipment and hand tools and buffing and polishing metals to correct existing defects.
- Operate grinding equipment per instructions and the machine manual.
- Read blueprints and job routers for deburring and finishing specifications.
- Maintain all deburring equipment and perform maintenance, as necessary.
- Keep the work area as clean as possible to reduce and minimize Foreign Object Damage (FOD).
- Conducts 5S procedures every week.
- Educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources.
- Maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures to ensure quality.
- Accomplishes manufacturing needs by properly communicating job-related issues and working in a team environment.
- Ensure 100% quality of products by monitoring, training, and inspecting products.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues as they arise.
