Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in program administration.
- Demonstrated ability to work with professional demeanor and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential records and apply judgment in sensitive situations.
- Professional experience and intermediate skill in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, emerging AI technologies (ChatGPT or Copilot), and other information systems used in academic or administrative settings.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the execution of IPPE and APPE rotations, ensuring they run efficiently and align with program goals.
- Act as a liaison between the Experiential Education Office, Academic Advising, and the Office of Academic Affairs to support student progress and program integration.
- Facilitate communication across all regions of Texas—managing rotation updates, facility access, and logistical needs between the central office in Austin and regional teams.
- Serve as a trusted resource for student pharmacist interns, preceptors, clinical sites, and regional personnel—providing guidance and support throughout the experiential journey.
- Assist with intern credentialing, ensuring that all P1–P4 students meet eligibility requirements to access clinical practice sites.
- Coordinate strategic meetings, including the Experiential Council and Preceptor Conference, to strengthen program development and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive operational improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing proactive solutions that enhance administrative systems and support the office’s educational mission.
- Take initiative on additional projects and responsibilities that contribute to the continued success of the Experiential Education Office and the College of Pharmacy.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree and more than 3 years of experience in program administration.
- Proven experience in problem-solving and initiating process improvements within academic or administrative units.
- Extensive experience and advanced skill in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, emerging AI technologies (ChatGPT or Copilot), CORE Elms and other information systems used in academic or administrative settings.
