Requirements

  • Technical Bachelor’s, Master’s or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)
  • 5+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • 5+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
  • 5+ years of experience in a role that required Scheduling, Project and/or Program Management skills
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to travel up to 30-40% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Manage and measure supplier performance.
  • Develop and generate supplier performance metrics.
  • Provide direction to suppliers to improve their performance to contractual requirements (quality, delivery, cost, technical, safety, communication, etc.).
  • Lead supplier performance reviews.
  • Evaluate risks and opportunities; assist suppliers in implementing risk mitigation plans.
  • Communicate performance to plan to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Lead cross functional team efforts to assess supplier processes and systems.
  • Work with internal and external resources, utilizing tools, processes and methods to enhance supplier performance to meet customer and program requirements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and supply chain personnel.
  • Develop and utilize communication tools and plans.
  • Identify, establish and maintain priorities for deliveries of products, services and data.
  • Communicate supplier performance status to programs, internal business partners, customers and all other stakeholders; with excellent verbal, reading, technical, and writing skills.
