Experienced Supplier Program Management Specialist

Technical Bachelor’s, Master’s or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)
5+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
5+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
5+ years of experience in a role that required Scheduling, Project and/or Program Management skills
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Ability to travel up to 30-40% of the time

Manage and measure supplier performance.
Develop and generate supplier performance metrics.
Provide direction to suppliers to improve their performance to contractual requirements (quality, delivery, cost, technical, safety, communication, etc.).
Lead supplier performance reviews.
Evaluate risks and opportunities; assist suppliers in implementing risk mitigation plans.
Communicate performance to plan to stakeholders and leadership.
Lead cross functional team efforts to assess supplier processes and systems.
Work with internal and external resources, utilizing tools, processes and methods to enhance supplier performance to meet customer and program requirements.
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and supply chain personnel.
Develop and utilize communication tools and plans.
Identify, establish and maintain priorities for deliveries of products, services and data.
Communicate supplier performance status to programs, internal business partners, customers and all other stakeholders; with excellent verbal, reading, technical, and writing skills.
