Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain with a minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the establishment and attainment of plant goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC)
  • Strategically develop, coach, and motivate staff leaders to guide production and support organizations for optimum day-to-day operations
  • Work with customers, cross-functional leaders, and internal staff to meet production requirements to deliver on-time to our customers and achieve business outcomes
  • Establish site culture and priorities with a clear focus on business execution, effective employee communication & relations, and the embodiment of the GE Vernova Way
  • Influence the Lean roadmap for the facility
  • Ensure strong collaboration with the engineering team to ensure perfect launch of new products (NPI) and processes
  • Leverage budgeting and regular planning, forecasting and SI&OP rhythms to drive the organization to ensure that scheduling, capacity, and headcount are aligned to ensure plant success
  • Global mindset to share in best practice, strive to ensure you have captured all read across items
  • Champion talent development across the team, effectively following talent processes and investing in hiring, growth, and succession planning
  • Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in all aspects of SQDC and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, quality systems, cost systems and fulfillment metrics
  • Ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally, influencing across a matrix organization while connecting and building relationships with all levels of the site

  • Leads with a Lean mindset and is skilled at applying Lean tools to improve business operations
  • Demonstrated record of success in leading manufacturing operations
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities and the capacity to drive continuous improvement
  • Strong organization and planning skills and have demonstrated expertise in providing strategic direction and further developing bench strength
