Requirements
- Advanced degree in medicine (MD or equivalent), with MD/PhD strongly preferred
- Minimum of 6-8 years of industry experience in related therapeutic area clinical development
- Experience with parenterally administered small molecules and biopharmaceuticals
- Total of 12 years of experience in clinical development, with at least 6-8 years in industry and the remainder in an academic setting
- At least 5 years of people management experience required; this may include management in a matrix environment
Responsibilities
- Provide overall clinical scientific leadership for the Factor XI program
- Have responsibility for clinical development strategy and execution of clinical trials
- Act as medical expert and leader in interactions with external collaborators and internal collaborators
- Develop unique and innovative clinical strategies to significantly shorten the development cycle
- Lead and develop a team of MDs and clinical scientists
