Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., criminology, criminal justice, sociology, political science, or public policy)
- Ability to develop and teach innovative new courses relevant to homeland security
- Experience in teaching three courses per semester
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in Terrorism, Counterterrorism, Cybersecurity, or Homeland Security
- Hold office hours and participate in School and University activities and service
- Support the graduate student experience, including assisting with the Master of Science in Counterterrorism and Homeland Security program immersion experience and recruitment events
- Participate in professional development for SPA graduate students
Preferred Qualifications
- Practitioner experience in emerging topics, such as AI
- Skills relevant to the program, such as project management
