Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Administrative experience in a hospital, executive suite, and/or supporting multiple leaders is desired
- Four years of senior administrative support experience including knowledge and experience in managing complex scheduling and impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions and recommend appropriate action
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key liaison and representative on behalf of the CEO
- Support the efficient operations and professional image of the CEO’s office
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings and engagements for the CEO’s extensive calendar
- Compile, prepare and prioritize daily materials needed to facilitate the efficient and effective use of the CEO’s time
- Assess inquiries and concerns directed to the CEO’s office, assessing course of action and delegating to appropriate person or unit to handle
- Convey directives and critical information to other senior executives, faculty, and staff
- Coordinate, prepare and review a wide range of written materials for the CEO, including agendas, itineraries, presentations, correspondence, letters, and memos
- Review documents requiring the CEO’s signature or response to ensure compliance with current administrative policy
- Make travel arrangements and process expense reimbursements
- Coordinate special projects as directed
Preferred Qualifications
- Substantial prior experience working with or for a senior executive and interacting with senior executives, community leaders, donors, and other similar roles
- Substantial knowledge and experience in higher education and/or large health systems or other large, complex organizations
- Significant prior administrative support experience making travel arrangements, purchasing goods and services, and relevant administrative policies and procedures
