Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, demonstrating the ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity, showcasing the ability to lead teams effectively and drive results.
- Experience coordinating industrial equipment installation, startup, and process validation
- Demonstrated leadership in manufacturing engineering initiatives focused on optimizing general assembly materials to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile and Six Sigma, ensuring efficient project execution and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and mitigate risks.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful product launches.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and meet project budgets/forecasts.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in manufacturing engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies, fostering operational efficiency and waste reduction.
- Familiarity with robotics and automation technologies, contributing to innovative manufacturing solutions.
- Experience with material flow simulation (i.e. PlantSim)
