Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in event planning, hospitality, or administrative support
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating event logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, and vendor communication
- Support onsite event setup, registration, and breakdown
- Maintain accurate records of event budgets, timelines, and contact lists
- Communicate with clients and vendors to ensure all event details are accurate and up to date
- Assist with the creation of event materials such as schedules, signage, and checklists
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations during event execution
