Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience working with ETFs, mutual funds, alternative investments, or SMAs
- Understanding of ETFs, mutual funds, portfolio construction, investment strategies, and financial markets across asset classes
- Very strong attention to detail which is reflected in work produced and communications with internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and manage deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Desire to learn all aspects of the team’s diverse functions through cross training
- Desire to grow in role by learning and teaching with the goal of becoming a subject matter expert
- Skilled at initiating, nurturing, and developing strong interpersonal relationships
- Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency with Excel (e.g., PowerQuery) and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong critical and analytical thinker who can build an investment recommendation based on facts
- Knowledge of investment-related statistics
- Excellent communicator with great presentation skills
- Series 7 and 66 licensed or ability to acquire within 60 days post start date
Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding due diligence and ongoing product management, including monitoring, of ETFs and mutual funds offered by UBS Global Wealth Management U.S.
- Develop and maintain relationships with ETF and mutual fund issuers
- Administer key internal controls to help manage regulatory risks
- Manage investigations pursuant to senior management and regulatory inquiries
- Provide secondary support in other areas of team responsibilities pertaining to closed-end funds, Unit Investment Trusts, and special projects and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Morningstar, Bloomberg, FactSet, Aladdin, and other data vendor services preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a quantitative discipline preferred
- Progress towards or completion of MBA, MS, JD, CFA, FRM, CAIA
- Previous due diligence experience preferred but not required
