Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, Business, or a related field, or CPA.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ESG management or 5 years in a related role.
- Strong understanding of ESG principles, regulations, ratings, and reporting standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project Management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ESG reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical skills, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
- Creative and innovative team player with an understanding of the interconnectivity of the business processes and their effects on the control environment.
- A self-motivating individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ESG strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s mission and values.
- Monitor ESG performance, including environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance practices.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of the company’s annual ESG report and manage the data collection process.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote ESG awareness and engagement.
- Conduct ESG risk assessments and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant ESG regulations and standards.
- Prepare and present ESG reports to senior management and other external stakeholders.
- Respond to ESG-related inquiries from external stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in ESG.
- Oversee 3rd party rating agency diligence.
