Requirements
- High School completion / GED
- Preferred experience: Medical terminology
- Successful completion of one of the following: Nurse’s aide training course within the last 5 years, Patient care experience within the last six months, Currently enrolled in nursing school with the completion of core nursing classes, Six months experience within a Premier acute care setting, EMT Basic
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care activities under the direction of RN/LPN
- Coordinate the day-to-day clerical activities of the nursing unit
- Impact patient outcomes and care provided to patients/families/significant others
