Our undergraduate internship provides first-hand experience in investment management offering exposure to equity research, with a blend of practical and theoretical knowledge, with a focus on the US Financials sector. Our culture cultivates and rewards intellectual rigor, entrepreneurial spirit and conviction. We look for undergraduates who demonstrate a passion for investing and financial markets.

We’ll trust you to:

• Work closely with investment management professionals to understand the industry and support ongoing projects
• Perform corporate analysis on current and prospective holdings
• Participate in company meetings/calls and attend industry conferences
• Prepare a final pitch presentation to deliver to Lazard’s senior management team

You’ll need to have:

• Strong academic performance
• Recently graduated or be graduating soon
• Demonstrated interest in capital markets & investing
• Ability and desire to work in a collaborative environment
• Global perspective
• Resourceful, can-do perspective
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills, and the ability to distill complex concepts clearly and efficiently
• The independence and initiative to develop original ideas
• Prior experience in equity research, such as a university’s student-managed investment fund or internship
• Financial modeling skills, including basic income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow modeling

Compensation: Pro-rated base annual salary of $90,000
