Equity Accounting Analyst

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in industry or public accounting.
• Experience in US GAAP accounting principles related to stock-based compensation, including ASC 718.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly and quarterly close related activities including flux analysis, forecasting vs actuals, identifying key trends and highlighting areas of focus for management; this includes the associated internal management and external (10Q/K) financial reporting processes.
• Apply ASC 718, interpretation of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules and guidelines and their practical application on business processes and concise articulation of implications, writing accounting memos to document positions; assist in the disclosure roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Financial Planning and Analysis (FPandA), PAs, legal, tax, payroll, and HR, to ensure timely execution of deliverables and manage dependencies.
• Monitor, maintain, and improve ongoing processes which heavily rely on automated SQL-based data analytics and SAP capabilities.
• Manage UAT, and work with third-party vendors ensuring ongoing compliance to our rules/regulations and internal policies.
