Requirements
- 2-year Associates degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience
- Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Suite Programs, Tableau and MES
- Exceptional ability of mechanical aptitude and understanding of generic parts, electrical, hydraulics and mechanical equipment
- Data analysis tools such as JMP, Excel, MATLAB, etc.
- Ability to schedule work to be completed, may need to coordinate with multiple groups
- Can interpret mechanical and/or electrical drawings and apply this to installation and troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of Sysmac and Omron PLC software. Able to use as a troubleshooting tool
- Basic understanding and troubleshooting of vision systems
- Has proficiency in CAD software
- Can maintain and use non-production equipment such as 3D printer, microscope, laser scanner, etc.
- Six Sigma Yellow belt or higher
- Root Cause Analysis Training
- Interview with presentation (after RCA training)
- Qualified for Ramsay TIII
- Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Responsibilities
- Follows all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Must be able to maintain active communication with management and other employees about all job-related concerns and informs the Lead/Supervisor when problems occur.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Demonstrates sound problem-solving abilities following the PDCA process
- Regularly checks data to identify problems and to verify actions
- Uses graphs and basic excel skills to interpret data
- Performs root cause analysis and has the ability to derive countermeasures
- Uses machine knowledge to identify mechanism which can cause defect, alarm, etc.
- Understand mechanism of common mechanical parts within machines for example sensors, bearings, gearboxes, linear guides, conveyors, etc.
- Demonstrates & teaches the application of precision tools like dial indicator, caliper, micrometer, etc.
- Routinely does tasks like installation of improvement parts, taking measurements, repairing machines, reducing defects or alarms, improving productivity, etc.
- Communicates with production and maintenance team to coordinate work
- Influences operators and maintenance technicians while providing guidance on repair methods
- Schedules action plans for the team for daily, weekly, monthly actions
- Maintains complete and accurate records of all work done on the equipment and machines
- Communicates with team members promptly and accurately.
- Responsible for pass-down and shift handover of unfinished tasks or other
- Provides training to team
- Completes audits as required
- Takes direction and can execute tasks

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years manufacturing experience with deep understanding of manufacturing equipment, programming, maintenance and repair
- Experience in electrical maintenance
- Strong background in electrical system troubleshooting
- Has worked with electro-mechanical systems
- Experience fabricating and using tools in a machine shop
- Understands basic lean 6 sigma principles
- Has experience in welding, fabricating, repair or similar work
- Data analysis to identify issues and implement countermeasure immediately followed by permanent corrective action
