Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of direct experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience ensuring compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company specifications.
- Experience installing and commissioning manufacturing equipment, and writing SOPs, performance reports, maintenance activities, and improvement initiatives.
- Comfortable with hands-on work in manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that equipment meets safety standards and regulations, and implementing measures to mitigate potential hazards.
- Choosing the appropriate equipment for diamond wafer manufacturing, production, or research and development processes.
- Overseeing the installation of new equipment, ensuring it is properly set up, calibrated, and integrated into existing systems.
- Diagnosing equipment malfunctions and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
- Managing projects related to equipment upgrades, expansions, or replacements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor, thin film solar cell, or hard disk industries.
- Familiarity with precision laser tools, cleaning equipment, high-temperature furnaces, and plasma processing equipment.
- Experience with PLC systems and troubleshooting.
- Experience with 3D CAD systems like SolidWorks and PLM systems.
