Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a combination of college education studies and/or relevant experience required.
- Epic training certification is preferred.
- Prior Training experience with physicians/EHR’s preferred.
- Capacity to manage multiple competing objectives and to clearly communicate results.
- Ability to communicate the importance of training and engagement to all stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills; ability to sequence activities logically.
- Ability to develop and adhere to schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Interpersonal skills to function well in administrative, management, and patient care environments.
- Ability to work effectively with staff that have a wide range of seniority.
- Excellent knowledge of English grammar and spelling for use in both verbal and written communication.
- Ability to use PC‐based word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
Responsibilities
- Communicating training policies and procedures across the organization.
- Leading the physician informatics team in designing and implementing physician training program.
- Identifying training needs of physicians and ensuring training effectiveness.
- Assist with new employee onboarding and training.
- Maintaining training requirements for physician‐user system access.
- Maintain physician training materials to ensure they are up to date.
- Maintain process for developing training patients within the training environment.
- Ensuring all physicians have appropriate Epic training and are registered for Epic classes when appropriate.
- Securing training rooms, workstations, printers, projectors, screens, barcode scanners, and other equipment needed for training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education/training background preferred but not required.
- Strongly desired: Existing knowledge of organizational culture, personnel, and processes.
