- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the cleaning, disinfecting and stocking of patient rooms, offices and ancillary areas according to established procedures.
- Responsible for the removal and disposal of linens and waste streams.
- Performs interim and restorative maintenance to hard floor, carpets and upholstery according to procedures.
- Assembles, maintains and stores equipment/supplies that are necessary to complete tasks according to department standards.
- Communicates and collaborates with other members of the team to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
- Reports general maintenance and specialized cleaning requirements in work area.
- Assists visitors and employees in navigating through the hospital to reach their destination.
- Fully functioning within one cleaning area.
- May be expected to work across department sites for coverage and business need.
Preferred Qualifications
- Public service and or customer service experience in a hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial experience Preferred
