Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, geology, or another environmental specialty.
- At least 5 years of experience in contaminated site assessments.
- Strong knowledge of provincial regulations and best practices in environmental assessments and remediations.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and adaptability.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across Canada.
- A strong sense of responsibility and autonomy.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
- A safety-conscious attitude and understanding of health and safety procedures in the workplace.
- Fieldwork experience in environmental assessments and/or remediations.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel from the office to work sites.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with project coordinators, other project managers, project directors, technical leads, engineers, scientists, and technicians.
- Develop technical service offers, work plans, and financial proposals.
- Prepare tender documents and ensure they meet client expectations.
- Interface with clients to ensure their needs are met and measure project progress and quality.
- Plan, manage, and control projects to achieve the set technical, financial, and administrative objectives.
- Lead field staff, conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Mentor and train junior staff involved in the projects.
- Ensure adherence to the company’s health, safety, and quality management requirements.
- Analyze and interpret data and review technical reports.
