Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, Industrial Safety, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Sciences
- Availability to work onsite for a 3-month internship
- Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control laws (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident)
Responsibilities
- Support the EH&S team in promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the operation
- Assist in implementing EH&S policies and programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and startup-specific needs
- Conduct research on regulatory updates and best practices to help build and refine a comprehensive EH&S program, including policies, training content, manuals, and signage
- Contribute to the rollout of a new EH&S management platform, collaborating with engineering, flight, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth implementation
- Perform data entry and reporting on key safety and environmental metrics to support compliance and continuous improvement
- Work onsite in diverse environments, gaining exposure to real-world EH&S challenges within a high-growth startup
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams
- Understanding of basic OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EH&S regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
