Entry Level Semiconductor Device Modeling Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field
0 to 1 years of experience
Ability to learn and understand nuclear physics related to electron, gamma-ray, and neutron behavior on solid state electronic components
Ability to communicate to broad audiences both technical and non-technical information
Ability to be a team player and receive mentoring from senior engineers and leadership
Working knowledge of various electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeter, SMUs, etc.)
Technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex problems
Understanding, familiarity and/or experience with microelectronics devices, LabVIEW, Altium, Printed Circuit Board (PCBs)
Aptitude for solving technical problems and creating customer solutions
Understanding of concepts, theories, and methods related to the composition, structure, and properties of microelectronics
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance (Interim Secret required to start)

Develop radiation effect aware SPICE models for semiconductors
Leverage available modeling products to conduct TCAD simulations
Implement worst-case analysis scenarios in circuit design while incorporating programming and statistical applications as needed
Attend national radiation conferences
Perform design, development, or review of tasks in specific areas under close supervision
Design a portion or section of an analysis or design review
Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence
Develop, maintain and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications
Interface with customers in design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications
Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures
