Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field
  • 0 to 1 years of experience
  • Ability to learn and understand nuclear physics related to electron, gamma-ray, and neutron behavior on solid state electronic components
  • Ability to communicate to broad audiences both technical and non-technical information
  • Ability to be a team player and receive mentoring from senior engineers and leadership
  • Working knowledge of various electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeter, SMUs, etc.)
  • Technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex problems
  • Understanding, familiarity and/or experience with microelectronics devices, LabVIEW, Altium, Printed Circuit Board (PCBs)
  • Aptitude for solving technical problems and creating customer solutions
  • Understanding of concepts, theories, and methods related to the composition, structure, and properties of microelectronics
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance (Interim Secret required to start)

Responsibilities

  • Develop radiation effect aware SPICE models for semiconductors
  • Leverage available modeling products to conduct TCAD simulations
  • Implement worst-case analysis scenarios in circuit design while incorporating programming and statistical applications as needed
  • Attend national radiation conferences
  • Perform design, development, or review of tasks in specific areas under close supervision
  • Design a portion or section of an analysis or design review
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence
  • Develop, maintain and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications
  • Interface with customers in design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications
  • Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures
