Requirements

  • 1+ year of outbound Business Development experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment for Enterprise accounts (about 10,000+ employees)
  • Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding outbound activity metrics and opportunity generation targets
  • Strong ability to learn and communicate complex software solutions clearly and effectively
  • Skilled in collaborating with Account Executives and Marketing teams to launch effective prospecting campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport quickly over phone, email, and social media
  • Active listening skills and the ability to uncover business challenges through conversation
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong self-motivation and discipline to work independently and meet aggressive goals
  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce) and prospecting tools (Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, Alyce)

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify strategic target accounts and key decision-makers (budget holders, senior leadership) primarily within companies of 10,000+ employees
  • Build and manage strategic prospect lists for outbound campaigns and engage contacts through cold calls, highly personalized emails, LinkedIn messaging, and other outbound channels to generate interest and create opportunities
  • Generate at least 5 qualified sales opportunities per month and hand them off to Account Executives
  • Conduct high-level conversations with executives (C-Level, VP, Director) to introduce HireVue’s solutions and assess initial fit
  • Leverage leading prospecting tools, including Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, and Alyce to optimize outreach and engagement efforts
  • Continuously improve prospecting skills by learning advanced techniques such as account mapping, competitive intelligence gathering, and champion engagement
  • Develop a deep understanding of the HireVue platform and stay current with product updates and industry trends
