- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 15+ years of experience
- Required Certifications: Security + or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP or other DoD 8140 certification
Responsibilities
- Leads model development and curation for the enterprise architecture utilizing MBSE methods according to UAF standards
- Defines digital platform architecture frameworks, including design methodology and best practices to be used as a reference for the Architecture team
- Implements the platform under the control of an automated configuration management framework
- Provides in-depth knowledge of information security
- Holds responsibility for the architecture of the data framework that is required by the operations to collect and make available program performance metrics
- Must be capable of performing analysis of system operations
- Must be capable of system decomposition via OMG frameworks (UML, DoDAF 2.0/UPDM, SysML, UAF)
- Must be able to model systems via different perspectives (e.g. capability, operational, system, functional) and at various levels of abstraction
- Must be familiar with UML modeling tools (Cameo Enterprise Architect preferred)
- Must be able to meet with stakeholders in a variety of system domains and analyze requirement, process, system, and/or capability
- Must be capable of extending UML-based models to other tools or modeling environments via existing frameworks/API’s
- Must be familiar with executable models (fUML specification preferred)
- Must have the ability to generate/produce data and reports
- Interact and professionally exhibit customer service skills and be able to present a positive approach with customers and peers
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in modeling, e.g. OCSMP (OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional)
- Experience modeling complex systems for Department of Defense or other government organizations
- Experience publishing models to web-based or document-based formats
- Experience developing applications using object-oriented programming languages (Java preferred)
- Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong customer service
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, and manage time effectively including attention to detail
- Desired Certifications: Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP) or Certified User Experience Designer (CUED), or Python Certification (PCAP or similar)
