Requirements

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience providing RF technical expertise, systems and design analysis, and implementation and integration via technical reports, presentations, briefings, training.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical field
  • Experience with DOD communications architecture and systems.
  • Experience developing architecture artifacts using Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DODAF), The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
  • Experience establishing system information requirements and designing architecture to support present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
  • Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independently
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Enterprise Architecture expertise to support data-driven enterprise decisions.
  • Support senior leaders and provide architectural recommendations to meet strategic objectives for future IT system integration.
  • Collaborate with Nuclear Command, Control, Communications (NC3) Enterprise Architecture teams to provide input to capture user requirements and use cases for improvement of the NC3 Digital Mission Engineering Environment (NDMEE).
  • Produce and publish baseline and incremental NC3 system of systems architectures to support and update information hosted in enterprise digital engineering tools.
  • Develop detailed architecture artifacts for subsets of the NC3 Enterprise, as needed – All View (AV), Operational View (OV), and System View (SV) artifacts.
  • Ingest, re-format, and publish architectures using validated and verified authoritative data to support and update information hosted in digital engineering tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working-level proficiency with Models Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Modeling tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, and SparxEA
