Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in a related field (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
- 5 years’ experience in a leadership or supervisory role related to Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or a related field
- Possess or ability to obtain certification to IPC-A-610
- Possess or ability to obtain certification to IPC J-STD-001
- Possess or ability to obtain certification to IPC/WHMA-A-620
Responsibilities
- Directly lead a team of electrical technicians during wire harness fabrication and electronic assembly.
- Interpret electrical drawings and establish workflow and processes.
- Perform in-process inspections of departmental work.
- Perform soldering and inspection of wiring harnesses.
- Perform minor mechanical assembly.
- Perform test functions using microscopes, multimeters, and various test equipment.
- Conduct and/or assign highly complex R&D electrical wiring functions for prototype development as required.
- Communicate/Interact daily with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance personnel.
- Clearly articulate staff and electrical shop needs to the Manufacturing Shop Supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years of Aviation Airframe or electronics experience
- Degree or Certification in a related field
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical drawings
