Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in the engineering field
- Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical engineering principles
- Ability to work in a team under supervision of engineers
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of engineers, applying electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge
- Design, build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery
- Fabricate, repair, and maintain electronics systems and equipment
- Create prototypes based on schematics, engineering drawings, complex manuals, and other technical documentation
- Apply technical expertise and industry knowledge to programs or projects
- Assist in the development of solutions to complex problems
- Work with minimal supervision within established procedures and practices
- Serve as informal lead or mentor to more junior team members
