Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical or equivalent with 2+ years of experience
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints and other technical documents
- Previous experience in a technical role, preferably in an R&D, testing or manufacturing environment
- Proficient in using standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supplies
- Experience with soldering surface mount and through hole electronics, fabricate electrical-mechanical hardware such as test boxes and wire harnesses
- Good communication skills and ability to document test results
Responsibilities
- Building, Testing and Debugging innovative electronics and mechanical prototypes
- Replace parts and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Rework circuit board assemblies using a soldering iron and common hand tools
- Maintain small EE and ME Labs including 3d printer supplies and operation, soldering stations and supplies
- Manage inventory, track supplies, and procure materials needed for prototype development
- Assist in the setup and execution of audio and video related tests
- Work with engineers to test, debug and validate new electronic designs through measurements and experiments
- Assist in integrating mechanical components and electronics into fully functional systems per design specifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with PCB design tools, and / or ME CAD software a plus
