Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Ag Engineering
- Proficient in Caterpillar Powertrain & Component product lines, Systems Integration, or Undercarriage product lines
- Proficient in Caterpillar Design including Creo and Team Center, Product Development, and New Product Introduction (NPI) Processes
- Capability to leverage existing Caterpillar into new OEM applications and manage integration design changes required to meet customer requirements
Responsibilities
- Engineering Project Leadership for Custom Engineered Power Modules, Undercarriage, and Components Projects
- Managing Engineering Project portfolios providing leadership regular visibility and escalation for projects constraints
- Leading NPI design reviews collaborating the application lead engineers as part of the OEM Solutions NPI programs
- Providing engineering status and deliverables and risk mitigation plans in commercial NPI gateway reviews
- Providing engineering configuration, releasing, and maintenance for OEM application lead engineers
- Providing Technical Information and Technical support to OEM customers
- Creating and Maintaining OEM Application Guides, Technical Data Sheets & Service Information for OEM offerings
- Completing engineering designs in Creo and Caterpillar Team center as well as Maintenance Support for the product lines
