Requirements
- B.S in engineering or related job experience
- Minimum 5 years testing / validation experience
- Experience with data collection and data processing
- Knowledge of reliability and quality systems tools
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of validation personnel to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and as specified.
- Work with platform and systems teams to ensure validation issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Support project teams and systems engineers in determining validation issue root causes and provide potential solutions
- Review Incident Reports (IRs) for proper problem solving and issue resolution with decision making ability to close or keep IRs open
- Prepare and present validation status reports throughout the product development cycle
- Development of validation planning and test monitoring tools to provide actual status of validation testing to project teams
- Create and maintain test documentation management systems to document test procedures, test plans, results and other pertinent information related to validation processes.
- Ensure safety is the top priority for all validation activities.
- Train and mentor others in testing methodologies
- Additional responsibilities include employee performance management, career development, resource planning, budgeting, & personnel selection
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience desired
- Knowledge of reliability and quality systems tools desired
- Powersports experience preferred
