You’ll lead a team of backend and platform engineers focused on building scalable infrastructure, improving developer experience, and driving operational excellence across Patreon’s engineering org.
You’ll define and deliver on a platform roadmap that balances immediate reliability needs with long-term architectural investments.
You’ll work closely with product teams, infrastructure, and cross-functional partners to ensure our backend systems are performant, observable, and developer-friendly.
You’ll be responsible for mentoring engineers, fostering a healthy team culture, and helping grow the next generation of technical leaders at Patreon.
Your work will directly support the creators who rely on Patreon by ensuring our platform is stable, fast, and built to scale with their ambitions.
Participate in company-wide hiring activities such as recruiting, interviewing, and closing top candidates.
