Engineering Manager

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role overseeing technical teams.
Proven experience building data- and analytics-heavy products, with a strong understanding of data modeling, enterprise software, and scalable system design.
Familiarity with AI or machine learning technologies and their application in product development is a plus.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to balance technical trade-offs with business priorities.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of mentoring engineers and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive approach to ownership and delivery.

Guide the architectural vision and technical roadmap for Summation’s platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance while leveraging data- and AI-driven technologies.
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Set clear goals and provide regular feedback to drive individual and team success.
Drive engineering best practices, including code quality, system reliability, and performance optimization, while balancing innovation with operational stability.
Work hand-in-hand with product managers and design team to align technical efforts with the product vision, and collaborate with applied science and customer deployment teams to integrate cutting-edge solutions into the platform.
Champion the needs of customers by ensuring the engineering organization delivers solutions that are intuitive, reliable, and transformative for business planning and analytics.
