Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role
- Strong people management skills, with a proven ability to mentor, coach, and grow engineering talent
- Solid technical background in modern web technologies and scalable architectures
- Ability to review technical designs, contribute to architectural decisions, and guide engineers while allowing them autonomy
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams
- Track record of successfully hiring, onboarding, and retaining high-performing engineers
- Passion for building a strong engineering culture that values innovation, psychological safety, and continuous learning
Responsibilities
- Hire, mentor, and retain top engineering talent in a competitive edtech landscape
- Implement career development plans and performance reviews to support engineers’ growth
- Foster a culture of learning, innovation, and collaboration
- Drive scalable architecture to handle increased user adoption across universities and schools
- Collaborate with product, design, and leadership teams to define and execute the Campus Roadmap
- Improve platform stability and performance, ensuring a seamless experience for students, educators, and administrators
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in edtech, SaaS platforms, or B2B enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, DevOps practices, or modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
