Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date in Winter 2025/Spring 2026.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Ruby, Python, Java, or Go.
- Familiarity with web development technologies (e.g., REST APIs, front-end frameworks) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Exposure to or coursework on scalability, distributed systems, or cloud computing.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for learning and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to help implement features based on customer feedback, ensuring that customer needs are effectively incorporated into product development.
- Contribute to efforts aimed at improving the scalability and performance of Illumio’s policy management systems to support larger and more complex customer deployments.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and customer support teams to understand customer pain points, translate them into actionable requirements, and develop innovative solutions.
- Participate in analyzing customer feedback, reviews, and insights to identify recurring themes or issues, and help prioritize feature development based on customer needs.
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements and scalable solutions that can be deployed to a broad customer base.
- Tackle challenging problems related to scalability and performance optimization while ensuring that customer satisfaction is a top priority.
Preferred Qualifications
