Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in high-speed memory interface validation and embedded firmware development
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded platforms
- Experience with memory technologies such as GDDR7, GDDR6, DDR5, LPDDR5, or HBM
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell Scripting) for automation and lab tooling
- Deep understanding of JEDEC memory interface standards and PHY-level training flows
- Hands-on experience with lab tools and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, BERTs, logic analyzers, and protocol decoders
- Proven ability to debug hardware/firmware interaction in silicon and system-level environments
- Experience with margining, calibration, or stress-mode validation
- Familiarity with reliability testing methodologies for memory interfaces
- Exposure to simulation or emulation-based pre-silicon validation
- Background working with memory vendors on compliance and feature integration
- Exposure to low level FW development for RISC-V
Responsibilities
- Lead post-silicon validation of GDDR7 PHY and controller IP, including bring-up, debug, and full coverage closure
- Develop and execute validation plans based on JEDEC specs and system use cases; perform PVT testing, SI/PI margin analysis, and compliance validation
- Design and implement firmware tools to support link training, diagnostics, and calibration flows
- Build automated lab test infrastructure for data capture, regression, and stress testing using scripting (e.g., Python, Shell)
- Collaborate with IP vendors, DRAM partners, and internal teams on training algorithms and debug strategies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve system-level issues, support reliability validation, and enhance memory subsystem performance
