Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in high-speed memory interface validation and embedded firmware development
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded platforms
  • Experience with memory technologies such as GDDR7, GDDR6, DDR5, LPDDR5, or HBM
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell Scripting) for automation and lab tooling
  • Deep understanding of JEDEC memory interface standards and PHY-level training flows
  • Hands-on experience with lab tools and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, BERTs, logic analyzers, and protocol decoders
  • Proven ability to debug hardware/firmware interaction in silicon and system-level environments
  • Experience with margining, calibration, or stress-mode validation
  • Familiarity with reliability testing methodologies for memory interfaces
  • Exposure to simulation or emulation-based pre-silicon validation
  • Background working with memory vendors on compliance and feature integration
  • Exposure to low level FW development for RISC-V

Responsibilities

  • Lead post-silicon validation of GDDR7 PHY and controller IP, including bring-up, debug, and full coverage closure
  • Develop and execute validation plans based on JEDEC specs and system use cases; perform PVT testing, SI/PI margin analysis, and compliance validation
  • Design and implement firmware tools to support link training, diagnostics, and calibration flows
  • Build automated lab test infrastructure for data capture, regression, and stress testing using scripting (e.g., Python, Shell)
  • Collaborate with IP vendors, DRAM partners, and internal teams on training algorithms and debug strategies
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve system-level issues, support reliability validation, and enhance memory subsystem performance
