Requirements
- BS/MS degree in an Engineering discipline
- Experience developing software applications or machine vision systems is a plus
- Proficiency in Office 365
- Familiarity with machine vision camera software, applications and libraries
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite software
- Knowledge of cameras and sensors used in machine automation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong mechanical and math skills
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Design, build and support software applications (C, C++, C#, .NET, SQL, etc.)
- Design, build and support software library interfaces to common vision tools
- Define sensors, lighting and optics for solving machine vision problems
- Work as a member of a design team, cooperating with management in an effective manner to perform engineering work of a high quality, with no errors
- Prepare and submit reports as required to keep management updated on project status
- Maintain and continually improve technical and professional abilities described above and required to perform assigned tasks
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Field experience is a plus
- Mechanical and Electrical aptitude is a plus and must have potential to be developed by candidate
